Coinciding with the Venice Biennale, Fondazione Marta Czok  is pleased to present Anthology 2015–2025, a major exhibition dedicated to the work of Frank Denota.

The exhibition brings together sixteen carefully selected works spanning a decade of artistic production, drawn from the Frank Denota Archive (New York) and important private collections across Europe and the United States. Offering a focused survey of the artist's development between 2015 and 2025, the exhibition highlights the consistency, depth, and evolution of a practice that has steadily gained recognition among collectors, critics, and international audiences.

At the heart of the project is the presentation of the new publication Anthology 2015–2025, a comprehensive volume documenting ten years of Denota's artistic journey. The book will be introduced by Dr Jacek Ludwig Scarso, academic, author and cultural scholar, whose contribution will provide critical insight into the significance of Denota's work within the broader context of contemporary art.

Through a visual language distinguished by psychological intensity and narrative complexity, Frank Denota explores themes of identity, memory, social dynamics, desire, and human vulnerability. His paintings construct evocative spaces where personal experience intersects with collective consciousness, inviting viewers to reflect on the contradictions and challenges of contemporary life.

The Venice exhibition takes place at a particularly significant moment in the artist's career. Recently, Denota achieved a new auction record when his painting Smoker (40 x 50 cm) was sold for €10,000, marking the highest auction result achieved for one of his works to date. This milestone reflects the growing interest surrounding his practice and confirms the increasing attention of both European and American collectors.

More than a retrospective survey, Anthology 2015–2025 represents an opportunity to examine a decade of artistic research through a carefully curated selection of works that reveal the coherence and originality of Denota's vision. The exhibition offers visitors a unique perspective on an artist whose work continues to resonate with contemporary audiences while establishing an increasingly significant presence within the international art scene.
