Mae Shummo is a British Sudanese multidisciplinary artist and curator. Having graduated with Distinction from the MA Public Art & Performative Practices at London Metropolitan University, she was recently commissioned with Now What Collective by Liliesleaf Trust UK, to explore the contemporary legacies of the international solidarity movement against apartheid.  Mae’s wider research and practice focuses on global indigenous cultural production and curatorial practices.
